Resize windows with your keyboard

Once you've gotten used to working with your keyboard the thing that can really put you off is constantly having to resort to your mouse for common tasks. One of these is having to click on a window and dragging your cursor to resize it. MercuryMover is a Mac prefpane that lets you set up hotkeys to resize or move any window from your keyboard.

Using your keyboard to perform these tasks feels natural after a while and in some ways is probably quicker that having to use your mouse. The only nag I have with the program is that it lacks any explanation, and the program feels a bit confusing at first. However, once you've set the different keys and have gotten used to it, you'll really start to appreciate MercuryMover. Although the prefpane is limited to moving and resizing windows, it's good to have on your Mac if you prefer to work with your keyboard.

MercuryMover is a useful enhancer to resize windows with your keyboard.
